Welcome to the public website of the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS). Although first constructed in 1928, an active building and renovation program throughout the intervening years has ensured that our main campus in Tucson is as modern and attractive as you will find anywhere. Not only am I proud of our buildings, which house some of the most sophisticated and advanced medical equipment in the state, but I am also extremely proud of our excellent staff. Our employees and volunteers go out of their way to provide safe, effective, efficient and compassionate health care. Proof that they do so can be found in nationally-run patient care surveys which show SAVAHCS to have very high patient satisfaction scores. We are proud of our mission to serve the health care needs of our nation’s heroes and heroines, and I will do all I can to ensure that we serve you with honor, respect and the highest quality care possible.
