  • From Phoenix: Get on I -10 south for approx 106 miles, once in Tucson exit I -10 (Exit 261). Turn Right (south) on to South 6th Ave. At the second traffic light turn left onto Veterans Blvd and the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System grounds.

  • From Casa Grande: Get on I -10 south for approx 66 miles, once in Tucson exit I -10 (Exit 261). Turn Right (south) on to South 6th Ave. At the second traffic light turn left onto Veterans Blvd and the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System grounds.

  • From Yuma: Get on I -8 East for approx 176 miles to the intersection of I - 10. Take I - 10 South for approx 61 miles and once in Tucson exit I -10 (Exit 261). Turn Right (south) on to South 6th Ave. At the second traffic light turn left onto Veterans Blvd and the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System grounds.

  • From Sierra Vista: Take SR-90 (North) for approx 24 miles until you hit I - 10. Get on I -10 (West) for approx 41 miles, once in Tucson exit I -10 (Exit 261). Turn Left (south) on to South 6th Ave. At the second traffic light turn left onto Veterans Blvd and the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System grounds.

  • From Safford: Take US-191 South for approx 33 miles until you hit I -10. Get on I -10 (West) for approx 92 miles, once in Tucson exit I -10 (Exit 261). Turn Left (south) on to South 6th Ave. At the second traffic light turn left onto Veterans Blvd and the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System grounds.

  • From Green Valley: Take 1 -19 North for approx 23 miles until you hit I -10. Take the I -10 (East) exit but don't get actually get on I -10. Stay on the on ramp which will take you directly to exit 261. Turn Left (south) on to South 6th Ave. At the second traffic light turn left onto Veterans Blvd and the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System grounds.

The City of Tucson provides regularly scheduled bus service to bus stops located at the S. 6th Ave. and W. Ajo Way entrances to the VA Medical Center.  For more information visit Sun Tran Buses or call (520) 792-9222 . 

Also special transport vans for those with special needs are available via the city Van Tran  service (520) 798-1000.
