Tucson, AZ - The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) will be officially dedicating the new Sierra Vista VA Community Based Outpatient on Wednesday, September 5, 2007.  The dedication for this new 10,000 square foot outpatient clinic will be taking place at 9:00 a.m., at 101 North Coronado Drive, in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

This new clinic replaced the VA clinic that was previously located at the Fort Huachuca Army Post.  It affords easier access to those veterans residing in the Sierra Vista and surrounding southern Arizona communities.  This VA clinic provides comprehensive primary care, optometry, physical therapy, mental health, and laboratory.  Eligibility and enrollment services are also available.

An official ribbon cutting ceremony will be led by VA Southwest Health Care Director, Ms. Patricia McKlem, SAVAHCS Director, Mr. Jonathan H. Gardner, and invited guests.  A small reception and tours will be available after the ceremony.
