UPDATE - Pandemic Flu Exercise - Tucson, AZ ?? The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) is participating as part of a national Department of Veterans Affairs Pandemic Influenza Exercise. This exercise is designated to provide VA medical centers with an opportunity nationally to assess their individual readiness for an influenza pandemic outbreak. A flu pandemic occurs when a new influenza virus emerges for which people have little or no immunity and for which there is not vaccine. (06/26/2008)

Retirees, Disabled Vets Still Can File for 2008 Stimulus Payments - The Internal Revenue Service today reminded retirees, disabled veterans and others who normally do not file a tax return that there is still time to submit a 2007 form to receive an economic stimulus payment. (04/25/2008)

The dedication for this new 10,000 square foot outpatient clinic will be taking place at 9:00 a.m., at 2945 W. Ina Road (SW corner of Ina and Shannon).

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) will be officially dedicating the new Sierra Vista VA Community Based Outpatient on Wednesday, September 5, 2007. The dedication for this new 10,000 square foot outpatient clinic will be taking place at 9:00 a.m., at 101 North Coronado Drive, in Sierra Vista, Arizona. (09/11/2007)
