Arizona Fisher House

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) is honored to be selected as the site for the Arizona Fisher House, which will be located on the SAVAHCS Tucson Campus and accessible to the hospital complex. The Fisher House will serve eligible family members of hospitalized Veterans as well as Veterans receiving outpatient VA medical care

Fisher Houses are built on the premise that “a family’s love is good medicine.” When a loved one is ill or injured the Fisher House unites families along with relieving the financial and emotional strain of being away from home.

Construction of the Arizona Fisher House is estimated to be completed in early 2016. Once completed, the National Fisher House Foundation will donate the new facility to SAVAHCS.
