Parking at Tucson VA Limited due to Construction

February 1, 2016

TUCSON, AZ – Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) Tucson VA Medical Center will be expanding building 80 starting on Monday February 1. The construction project is expected to take several years to complete.

Parking at the Tucson VA will be impacted during the building 80 expansion project. The first three rows in Parking Lot G will be closed. In addition, some of the parking spaces at the north end of Parking Lot F will be converted to handicap parking.

It is advised to use caution when driving near building 80 around the construction area. It is recommended that Veterans show up early for their appointments as parking will be limited.

It’s important to note the construction project will not affect any of our clinics or the operations of our Emergency Department, and no patient care will be impacted.

For media outlets with questions about the Tucson VA construction project and parking lot closure, contact the SAVAHCS Public Affairs office at (520) 629-1819.
