Tucson VA Homeless Veteran Outreach Program to Receive Large Donation

TUCSON, AZ – Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) Homeless Veteran Outreach Program will be receiving a donation of nine cases of MRE’s (Meals Ready to Eat) from the Vietnam Veterans/ Legacy Veterans Motorcycle Club.

The donated MRE’s will be used to support the Tucson VA’s Boots on the Street outreach program for homeless Veterans.

The donations will be delivered to the Patio Conference Room located at Tucson VA campus at 3601 S. 6th Ave. Tucson AZ, 85723 at 6:00 p.m. December 3.

The VA is committed to ending Veteran homelessness. No one who has served our country should ever go without a safe, stable place to call home. The entire department has put its energy and resources into ending Veteran homelessness. VA's programs provide individualized, comprehensive care to Veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
