Tucson VA Parking Lot and Sidewalk Closures
February 10, 2017TUCSON, AZ – Due to an ongoing construction project at the Tucson VA Medical Center, Parking Lot T and the sidewalk leading to buildings 53, 59, 66, 68, 72 and 73 will be closed starting on Thursday February 16. The parking lot and sidewalk is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, February 21.
Parking Lot T is located between Building 1A and building 59. It is the closest parking lot to our Patient Advocate’s office located in Building 1A. Veterans needing to access the Patient Advocate office please use Parking Lot A or Q.
Veterans needing access to buildings 53, 59, 66, 68, 72 and 73 can use Parking Lot A. We also have tram stops located in front of Building 1 and in Parking Lot A to assist our Veterans and visitors.
We request that Veterans and visitors please do not use The Southwestern Blind Rehabilitation Center, Building 30, as an alternative route during the sidewalk closure, as this may disturb our blind rehab patients.
For media outlets with questions regarding the parking lot and sidewalk closure, contact the Tucson VA Public Affairs office at (520) 629-1819.
