Tucson VA Seeking Feedback from Veterans on New Patient Orientation

TUCSON, AZ – The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System’s (SAVAHCS) Tucson VA Medical Center will launch Welcome To Your VA new patient orientation program on Friday March 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the R.E. Lindsey Jr. Auditorium, Tucson, AZ 85723.  


Welcome to Your VA will cover several topics designed to enhance Veterans health care experiences. Speakers will provide overviews, tips and tools, and answer frequently asked questions about the VA health care system. Veterans who attend will be asked to evaluate our reformatted new patient orientation program and provide feedback on how to make additional changes. The Tucson VA’s mission is to deliver a new patient orientation that ensures Veterans are knowledgeable about the health care services we offer, so they can make informed decisions about the care they receive.


A light breakfast along with beverages will be provided whiles supplies last, and also Veteran patients are also eligible for door prizes.
