Tucson VA Veterans Day Events

November 6, 2017

TUCSON, AZ – Staff and volunteers from the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) will pay tribute to inpatient Veterans at the Tucson VA medical center on Veterans Day- Saturday, November 11 with entertainment and other special activities.

Starting at 9:30 a.m. till 11:00 a.m., volunteers will visit all inpatient areas with a specialty coffee cart and gifts.

At 11:00 a.m., an Elvis impersonator will provide entertainment to Veterans in the Community Living Center, Building 60 dining room.

The Tucson Barbershop Chorus will sing for Veterans at 2:00 p.m. in the Community Living Center, Building 60 dining room.

Piano entertainment will be provided by Beau Gerard starting at 4:00 p.m. in the Community Living Center, Building 60 dining room.

The SAVAHCS staff and volunteers will also take part in the Annual Tucson Veterans Day parade starting at 11:00 a.m. in downtown Tucson.
