Tucson VA to Open Transgender Clinic

December 9, 2015

TUCSON, AZ – Southern Arizona VA Health Care System’s (SAVAHCS) main Tucson VA campus will be opening a Transgender Clinic on December 16, 2015. The clinic will be offered on the 3rd Wednesday of each month and will be located on the second floor of Building 81.

The clinic will provide medical care, mental health, pharmaceutical and social work services specific to transgender Veterans. Providers in the clinic specialize in transgender care and will be able to provide guidance and education regarding health care needs unique to transgender Veterans.

The Tucson VA is committed to providing the highest quality healthcare for all Veterans to include lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Veterans.
