Mindfulness and Meditation

Learn how you can use your mind to help deal with everyday stressors, pain, anxiety, and a wide variety of other conditions. The mind-body connection is powerful. We have several classes to choose from depending on where you are at in your mind-body journey.

Meditation

Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing their mind on a particular object, thought or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MSBR)

MBSR is an evidence-based, experiential class with intensive training in meditation. Participants learn how to navigate their inner and outer lives with greater peace. This class is a 9-week series. Since the group interaction is a large part of the benefit of this class, participants must sign up for the full series. If a series has started, you would need to wait until the next series start. This is an on-going class, so the wait is not too long.


Power of the Mind

Learn how you can use your mind to help deal with everyday stressors, pain, anxiety, and other conditions. This class is a 6-week series. Since the group interaction is a large part of the benefit of this class, participants must sign up for the full series. If a series has started, you would need to wait until the next series start. This is an on-going class, so the wait is not too long.

Guided Imagery

Learn how to use the mind’s natural inclination for daydreaming as a tool to relax, manage stress, release anxiety, and find more balance and harmony in your inner and outer worlds. Guided imagery is a gentle, yet powerful technique to focus the imagination in positive and health-affirming ways. Join us for a regenerative journey to learn skills of relaxation and well-being. Can attend at any time.
